Note that Vamadeva (Acharya Frawley) is focusing his tutorial work on teaching Vedic mantras and philosophy to a few select students, including higher Yoga teachings. Yet you can access him through our retreats and programs.

Ayurveda and Yoga Trainings: Certification and Teacher Trainings Hatha Yoga, Ayurveda and Integral Ayurveda/ Yoga therapy. Includes classroom courses and training based upon Vamadeva’s Ayurvedic Healing Course and other teachings. Directed by Ed Zadlo, who has studied with Vamadeva for more than twenty-five years and is one of our Yogacharyas.
Taught by Durga Leela of the Sivananda Ashram at various locations including Grass Valley, California, Sivananda Bahamas, and Vietnam. Uses aspects of our Yoga and Ayurveda and Ayurvedic Healing courses to help students in recovery from addictions and other problems.
Ayurvedic Classroom Training in Canada using our Ayurvedic Healing course material as part of a longer program of instruction and class-room training in the Toronto area, for those who want hands-on instruction. The training is part of a Yoga and Ayurveda school and treatment center run by Greg and Jackie Van Acker, who are among our most advanced students.
You can take our along Ayurvedic Healing Course with Inner Domain Five Element Yoga and Ayurveda Teacher Trainings, using our Ayurvedic Healing Course Material as part of a longer program of instruction in the Washington DC area. This course will be facilitated by Inner Domain director Neva Ingalls with guest instruction by Ed Zadlo.
Spanish version of our Ayurvedic Healing distance learning program for those who want to take the course in Spanish. In addition, advanced Ayurvedic training in Spanish, offered in Spain and Latin America with Dr. Arcangelo Lubrano, who is a trained psychiatrist as well as an Ayurvedic practitioner and student of Vamadeva and Atreya Smith.
For Vamadeva’s courses in Germany and Russia and in the German and Russian languages, including our Ayurveda, Vedic Astrology, and Yoga and Ayurveda courses. Directed by Sergej Kuschpel and Maxim Kuschpel. Allied with special trainings at Yoga Flow in St. Petersburg, Russia.
2. ASSOCIATED PROGRAMS WITH THE AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF VEDIC STUDIES
These are programs with schools associated with us, but which are separate institutions. These schools can provide Vedic studies in various areas.
For Ayurvedic treatment in the United States (Santa Cruz, California), as well as for Ayurvedic studies and Vedic astrology. One of the leading resident Ayurvedic doctors and teachers in the West. We also recommend students to him for advanced study.
For clinical training in India at Nagpur and clinical study in the US and Europe. Joshi has an excellent school, clinic, pharmacy and dormitory in India, comfortable for western students. He also travels and teaches worldwide, including in the USA and Europe.
Our Ayurvedic students can continue on for advanced training in Pune with Avinash Lele and Subhash Ranade. This arrangement has been going on for many years as well as collaboration between Frawley, Ranade and Lele on books like Ayurveda and Marma Therapy. Many European Ayurvedic students attend these trainings.
The California College of Ayurveda is founded by Marc Halpern, and Vamadeva has been an important advisor since its beginning. CCA has an extensive Ayurvedic program and uses Vamadeva’s Ayurveda course as part of its textbook material. Our Vedic institute students have received credit with CCA over the years and we have recommended CCA for advanced study.
Our home study program is one of the most comprehensive in the United States. More information and practice is involved than in most systems that involve study with a teacher. It introduces students to a variety of different philosophies that make up the vast system of Indian teachings.
