Below are listed additional training options besides our distance learning courses in English. Course students can also take programs and retreats with Dr. Frawley and Yogini Shambhavi both to aid in their course experience and expand their learning at a personal level. 1.Our Programs in Other Languages and Countries
The following are programs with branches of our institute in other countries. Dr. Frawley often visits these groups to conduct special classes and seminars.

Courses in Russian and German: Ayurveda, Yoga and Ayurveda, and Vedic Astrology
Our distance learning programs are now available in the Russian and German languages, under the guidance of Sergej and Maxim Kuschpel, and the Vedic-Center located in Ruegen, Germany. The courses supplement the many books of Dr. Frawley that are already available and widely read in the Russian and German languages. Be among the first students to join these ground breaking programs.

The distance learning courses are being followed by seminars and classroom and clinical programs. The first group of more than thirty students for Yoga and Ayurvedic training has already graduated in Moscow combining distance learning and classroom instruction. We are planning an entire Vedic school in Russia in the coming years working with Vedic and Yoga groups in the country. The Vedic Center Ruegen also aims to develop a full Vedic treatment and teaching center on the island of Ruegen, north of Berlin. 

Ayurvedic Training in Brazil
Ayurveda school of Dr. Jose Rugue (Swami Narayananda), one of the leading centers in Brazil and South America, with affiliations in Europe. Dr. Frawley works with Dr. Rugue, who represents his Ayurvedic course in Brazil and provides a full Ayurvedic training at various cities in Brazil. Site is in Portugeuse.

Ayurvedic Training in the Czech Republic
The Association of Vedic Sciences practice disciplines such as Ayurveda, Vedic Astrology and Yoga from their Vedic/Vedantic roots. Based in Prague, it offers Dr. Frawley's Ayurvedic Healing and Vedic Astrology and Ayurveda courses in the Czech Republic (Central European region). Directed by Pavan Kanwar, Vedakovid from the AIVS.

Ayurvedic Courses in Spanish
Spanish version of our distance learning program for those who want to take the course in Spanish. In addition, advanced Ayurvedic training in Spanish is offered in Spain and Latin America with Dr. Arcangelo Lubrano, who is a trained psychiatrist as well as an Ayurvedic practitioner and a long time student of Dr. Frawley and Atreya Smith.

2. Advanced Study with the American Institute of Vedic Studies
Dr. Frawley is available for private study for a few advanced students on a tutorial basis. Yogini Shambhavi joins him for these teachings. These follow the Vedic gurukula model of one-to-one instruction with the teacher. Such programs include consultancy on Ayurveda, Yoga or Vedic Astrology for advanced students, teachers and practitioners. Please email us ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Ayurveda Tutorial: Special instruction, consultancy on cases and conditions, and advanced training, leading to certification with NAMA (National Association of Ayurvedic Medicine). 

Ayurveda and Yoga Tutorial: Certification as an 'Ayurveda and Raja Yoga Teacher', consists of direct study with Dr. Frawley in addition to Yoga and Ayurveda Distance Learning program and background Ayurvedic studies.

Vedic Astrology and Ayurveda Tutorials: Follows the guidelines of the ACVA (American College of Vedic Astrology) tutorial program and requires registration with ACVA. We also offer advanced study for those who want to specialize in Ayurvedic Astrology. This can be done along with ACVA credit. Such programs consist primarily of guided chart analysis.

Vinayak Ayurveda Center/ Dr. Sunil Joshi
For clinical training in India at Nagpur and clinical study in the US and Europe. Dr. Joshi has an excellent school, clinic, pharmacy and dormitory in India, comfortable for western students. He also travels and teaches worldwide, including the USA and Europe. He handles clinical training for our American and European students in India, particularly for Vata management programs and Pancha Karma. We recommend graduates of our Ayurvedic Healing course to study with him.

International Academy of Ayurved
Our Ayurvedic students can also continue on for advanced training in Pune with Dr. Avinash Lele and Dr. Subhash Ranade. This arrangement has been going on for many years as well as collaboration between Dr. Frawley, Ranade and Lele on several books like Ayurveda and Marma Therapy. Many European students also attend these trainings.

3. Affiliated Programs with the American Institute of Vedic Studies
These are programs with schools directly affiliated with us, but which are separate institutions. These schools can also provide advanced studies in various areas.

California College of Ayurveda
Headed by Dr. Mark Halpern, offers a two year certification program of classroom instruction in Ayurveda based on Dr. Frawley's work. Graduates earn certification as a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist (CAS). The CCA offers Extended Weekend and Full-time Weekday Programs in three California locations: Grass Valley, Oakland and Seal Beach (Orange County), now into its tenth year. Can give credit to graduates of our Ayurvedic Healing course.

Florida Vedic Institute Yoga Teacher Certification Course
Our home study program is one of the most comprehensive in the United States. More information and practice is involved than in most systems that involve study with a teacher. It introduces students to a variety of different philosophies that make up the vast system of Indian teachings. Compiled by Yogi Baba Prem Tom Beal, a Vedavisharada from the American Institute of Vedic Studies.

Florida Vedic Institute Sanskrit Course
Students can learn basic Sanskrit in the comfort of their home. This program will teach the basics so that students can pronounce mantras properly, as well as simple grammar rules that will deepen every students skill and knowledge level. Compiled by Yogi Baba Prem Tom Beal, a Vedavisharda from the American Institute of Vedic Studies.

Dancing Shiva Yoga and Ayurveda Program
An in depth application of Dr. Frawley's advanced Yoga and Ayurveda course into a one year training. Students will learn to integrate the science of Tri-dosha into the Raja Yoga system. A masterful teaching staff provides the authenticity the Yoga and Ayurveda traditions demand. The program strongly emphasizes a practical experience of learning. Students gain certification as a Yoga and Ayurveda therapist. Institute of Wholistic Education
The Institute received its initial direction and inspiration from the work of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. In carrying out its mission, the Institute recognizes that people need to take responsibility for their own lives and actions and to this end, it has focused on educating interested individuals in the fields of Ayurveda, Reiki and alternative health and wellness practices, including yoga.
