rigvedahistory

Extensive hardbound book on ancient India, reflecting Dr. Frawley's deeper research into Vedic texts. Semi-technical in nature, developing the views found in Gods, Sages and Kings and Frawley's other books, adding much more detail relative to Dr. Frawley's more than thirty year study of Vedic texts in the original Sanskrit.

Emphasizes the southern origin of the Vedic people and the maritime nature of Vedic culture, with its spread from the Sarasvati region, including analyzing the lists of kings and rishis and the role of various dynasties. It contains special studies of the connections of the Vedic people with those of the ancient Middle East and Europe and an examination of the role of linguistics. It is the most detailed of Frawley's book on the subject and contains extensive references and research.

Selections: Sanskritization: Vedas and Linguistics, A New Approach
