2013-2014 Retreats – Vamadeva and Shambhavi

Kerala Ayurveda  and Ayurveda Gram, April 2014

Next year we will be shifting to Bangalore and Ayurveda Gram for Ayurvedic retreats with Kerala Ayurveda. These Kerala Ayurveda programs will start in April 2014. Ayurveda Gram is one of the best Ayurvedic facilities for treatment and retreats, encompassing both Yoga and Ayurveda, with Kerala type architecture in a beautiful natural setting. We will bring students here for a full range of study and practice of Yoga, Ayurveda, and Shakti Sadhana. We are planning a special Ayurvedic training for advanced students after the retreat along with Dr. Suhas Kshirsagar. Note video about Kerala Ayurveda by Vamadeva and Shambhavi at Ayurveda Gram.

Turkey Yoga Shakti Retreat and Program in Istanbul, Nov. 2013

Our next Yoga Shakti retreat with be held in Adrasan, Turkey in November 18-25, 2013, and will center on the transformative power of Agni or the inner fire of Prana and consciousness, near a sacred fire center in nature. Many students from Germany and Russia are expected. Note flier to the right.

Vamadeva’s ( Vedacharya Frawley’s) Yoga and Ayurveda book has recently been translated into Turkish and is now on the best seller list of Yoga books in the country and noted on Turkish television. Shambhavi’s Yogini: Unfolding the Goddess Within book is also now available in Turkish. Our November Turkey trip will feature a program on the books in Istanbul, before the retreat (Nov. 15).

2013 Programs

Chopra Center University – Vamadeva Shastri as Master Educator

Our 2013 programs involve special programs with the Chopra Center University (June, October) where Vamadeva is now featured along with Deepak as a Master Educator, helping with Deepak’s mantra and meditation training and serving as a general advisor to the university. Vamadeva will also provide special webinars and articles on important topics. He will be the main teacher for the Primordial Sound Meditation Teacher Training program.

NAMA Conference, April 2013

The NAMA conference will be important for all students of Ayurveda and will be held in Albuquerque, NM. Vamadeva (Acharya Frawley) is one of the four major advisors of the organization since its inception. He will be one of the keynote speakers, as he has been in the past. He will speak on Soma relative to his new book Soma in Yoga and Ayurveda, as part of the conference theme on longevity. Shambhavi will do an opening chant and speak for part of the session as well.

April 18-21: Annual NAMA Conference (National Ayurvedic Medical Association)

Sivananda Yoga Farm, Grass Valley CA

Labor Day Vedic Integration Program (Yoga, Ayurveda, Vedic astrology), a variety of speakers featuring Vamadeva and Yogini Shambhavi. We have been working with Sivananda now for more than twenty years. This will be a new program bringing together all the Vedic sciences.

Feb. 20-27, 2013. Vamadeva and Shambhavi will be in Ayurveda Gram, Banglore, a facility operated by Kerala Ayurveda. Vamadeva and Shambhavi did some special videos for Kerala Ayurveda.

Feb. 27-March 2. Vamadeva and Shambhavi will be in Vishakhapatnam with Guruji Sivananda Murty for special meeting on mundane astrology and the future of humanity.

March 4. Vamadeva will be with Swami Veda Bharati at Swami Rama Sadhaka Gram in Rishikesh. Swami Veda will go into silence on March 10. Vamadeva spoke at Swami Rama’s center on Shiva on March 7.

March 15-22. Vamadeva and Shambhavi will be in Ranikhet and Mayavati (Ramakrishna Math) in the Kumaon, Himalayas for private programs. Vamadeva and Shambhavi had an inspirational meeting with Swami Satyamayananda of the ashram.
